Earlier in June, our Lefties for Obama site was hacked by an unscrupulous man who called himself Hacker.tr (we assume the tr stands for “Total Righty”).
With the help of some technically-inclined lefties, I was able to reclaim the site.
It is easy, fellow lefties, to blame the right-handed movement for the actions of a single bad apple. We should not discount that there are righties who are willing to do or say whatever it takes to win—even if it means hacking and disabling our fair site.
But we also must recognize that the vast majority of Americans—both righties and lefties—are looking to us to rise above this year. They seen in Obama, with his left hand across the aisle, a leader who will help us get past divisions and get the country on the right path.
We are all in this together. To paraphrase George Orwell, this is “my country, right-handed or left-handed.”
There are now more than 100 lefties for Obama. Our cause has been mentioned in Seattle’s Stranger and the Pittsburgh Post Gazette
